Television is not the best form of entertainment for our children. What we do know. If it is for our children, we would be constantly involved in the books, crafts, games, simulation,, pbs kids, and other mind-altering activities during the day. But television is still in our lives for one reason or another, and certainly our children have fun watching a TV show. I recently discovered the joys of TiVo and all the benefits for me as a father. We TiVo have had in our house for about a year and I a two- year old son and a daughter four years. Before agreeing to have satellite TV, with its hundreds of (mostly useless) channels, we had very little, if any, of the television in our lives. Young couples who have decided not to have cable TV. Just watch rented movies and built a collection of health programs to watch on our DVD player. It was fun and easy. Then came a baby. Got not a job and was home most of the time with our first baby.
