Much of the series focuses on his marriage and his devotion to his wife and children.

At one point Newhart and his wife were shown sitting together in public during a recent ceremony curly research and love. (Ballast you wonder if old Bob cheated while Ginny was on her way, arranged his schedule so that she and the children could go with him.) Another example of monogamy is a happy man Joe Perry of Aerosmith. He and his wife Billie were married in 1985. Since then, not unless you leave the ship and continues to write songs on his check (his new CD , "Joe Perry").
